This Privacy Policy explains how Nova Retail ("Nova Retail", "we", "us" or "our"), a QR-code ordering platform operated by Devlance and available at novatechretail.com, collects, uses, shares and protects personal information. It applies to our website, the customer ordering experience, and the dashboards used by shops, staff, delivery drivers and administrators (together, the "Service").

Nova Retail is a technology provider that shops use to publish a catalog and take orders. When you use the Service as a customer of a shop, that shop is generally the controller of your information and Nova Retail acts as a processor on its behalf. Information shops and staff provide

When a shop signs up or a staff member is given access, we collect account details such as name, email address, phone number, shop name, role, and login credentials, together with the catalog content, branding, pricing and settings that the shop configures.

Information customers provide

When you scan a QR code and place an order, we may collect the table or venue you are ordering from, the items and customizations you select, order notes, and — where you choose to provide them — your name, phone number and any contact details needed to fulfill or pay for the order.

Payment information

When you pay online, card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment providers (such as card processors, Whish Money and Mastercard networks). Nova Retail does not store full card numbers; we receive only a limited confirmation of the transaction (for example, status, amount and a reference).

Information we collect automatically

Like most online services, we automatically collect certain technical data when you use the Service, including IP address, device and browser type, language and region settings, pages viewed, and interaction and diagnostic logs. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and secure the Service.
